The work sponsored visa categories, allows skilled applicants who are nominated by their employer to live and work in Australia on a temporary visa or permanent residence (PR) visa. The Australian business that wishes to sponsor you, must initially demonstrate that it can meet the requirements to become an approved business sponsor. These requirements generally involves assessing the company’s annual turnover, assets, previous and current business dealings, history of training their internal staff, and providing documentary evidence which shows the company has made genuine attempts to recruit locally for the proposed role.

The visa applicant would be assessed against their qualifications, work experience, proposed salary on offer, English language ability, health, character and other requirements.
